RAID

My final Customcon 22 tutorial; RAID.

I started with a Punisher figure and cut away some details.
I made some alterations to a cerebro helmet.I used Sculpey for details and to finish the helmet.A little primer provides a good preview. Then I accessorize and give a final paint job.

Dr Faustus

Here's a quick look at how Faustus was made:

I started with a Manute figure (from Sin City)
I needed to make him shorter so I cut down his waist and legs.I used boiled sculpey to alter his face and for the suit details. I also needed to fix his legs.I realized that his arms looked too long so I shortened them too.
First a white primer coat.
I added a monocle and cigarette holder and then painted. Pin stripes are a nightmare.

Here's a few more how-to progress pics of Sin.

I boiled sculpey onto the figure for the extra clothing details.

I followed that up with a white base coat before the final paint application.

From there I scratch built the gun belt from twist tie and epoxy putty...

Before and After :Sin

Here's a couple of before and after photos of the Wasp to Sin transformation.

Customcon 22

Well I'm pleased to announce my figures are up on day 1 of Customcon 22!
Marvel Legends 2-Packs: Enemies of the State is my first attempt at customizing (mostly) Marvel Legends figures and it was a lot of fun.
I'll share some of the before and after photos of the figures in my next post.

Old Customs

Well, as I'm just now starting to use this blog as a place to display figures and customs,
I thought I'd start off with a few of my early attempts ...
Space Ghost (Batman), Captain Marvel (Costner Robin Hood), and Mr Fantastic (Robin).
I was trying to use enamel model paint back then, with limited success.
More early efforts to follow.
